You are fascinated by craftsmanship and manual work; you have a practical mindset and are creative in finding solutions.
You handle a heavy workload well, can set priorities, work independently, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
You can work with focus and precision, and you place a high value on order and tidiness.
You can work either as part of a team or individually.
You contribute ideas to improve work processes.
No experience is required, but a natural curiosity and a desire to learn are essential.
Bilingualism—French/English (for communicating with clients)—is a plus.
A passion for art and culture is a plus.
2) Job Description
Creating wax sculptures for artists using a negative mold.
Remove seams and imperfections from the image and check the quality of the brushwork and retouching.
Preparing the sculpture for the casting process: determining the casting direction and mounting the sculpture onto a metal frame (welding). Installing sprues, vents, and core supports in and on the sculpture.
3) Offer
You'll be joining a small team with a pleasant work environment.
You will be completing an internship under a 6-month BIS contract (38-hour workweek, with an internship stipend)
